Contact MinddistrictWhat is the module 'Chronic pain and sleep' about?
The purposes of this module are to contribute to improving how users cope with their chronic pain and contribute to improving the quality of sleep. The module entails all the aspects relevant for treating pain and sleep problems: psycho-education, motivational interventions, exercises concerning sleep habits, pain management, relaxation exercises and cognitive techniques.
In every chapter, the user receives information by text and animations, listens to and watches caregivers' and peer leaders' stories and fills in exercises. When the module is finished, they have the theoretical and practical knowledge on how to deal with their chronic pain and sleep issues.
This module has recently been updated with an improved integration of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) which is easier to use for both the client and therapist.

For whom is the module suitable?
This module is suitable for adults (18+) who suffer from the long-term condition chronic pain and have sleeping problems. The module is suitable for use in different kinds of care pathways including via Employee Assistance Programmes, mental health services, social enterprises and universities. Users managing chronic pain may also benefit from the 'Chronic pain and mood' module, if they are experiencing mood symptoms with their condition.
Mobile first
This module is developed as a personal route, and therefore perfect to use in the Minddistrict mobile app. This means that people have self-help in their back pocket, they can continue with the module where they left of and can select their favourite elements. The module can also be used on other devices and on the web platform.
