An online module aimed at adults who are experiencing low self-esteem, and wish to improve their self image.

The self-esteem module uses low intensity CBT, and is is formed of 5 sessions (as well as a ‘Welcome’ session) guiding the client step-by-step to build a higher self-esteem and a more positive and realistic self-image. The sessions include psycho-education and example clients.
The exercises can enable clients to identify their thoughts, acknowledge the facts and form alternative perceptions to act upon. This can help to promote more helpful behaviour that can lead clients to feel more positive and confident. This module also works well alongside other Minddistrict mental health modules such as ‘Depression’.

This module is suitable for adults (18 years +) who have low self-esteem and wish to improve it.

Which diaries work well with this module?
The module can be combined with all generic diaries or with diaries that fit the goal of the client, for example the Thought record diary.

The module has been developed in close co-operation with an expert panel of therapists and patients.
