Contact MinddistrictWhat is the content of this module?
The module focuses on the components of changing thoughts, doing activities, dealing with others, self-expression and control, goal setting and relapse prevention. Prior to the development of this module, research was conducted into the target group. The results of this research have been implemented in the module, such as many choices and interactive moments, stories from fellow sufferers, looking back, focusing on the why and telling it like it is.
An online mood diary has been added to the module that gives young people insight into their own mood pattern. In addition, an action plan is activated in which young people can work on a self-chosen goal.
This module is mobile compatible and can be used via the Minddistrict app or web platform.
Who is this module suitable for?
This module was developed for young people aged between 15 and 18 who suffer from depression. The module is based on the cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) method.
What is this module based on?
The module was developed by Martine Eising, Ilona Hartog and Renske Gommer from Minddistrict. Minddistrict develops content through the validated method of 'intervention mapping', combining relevant literature, content experts and user input with knowledge of behavioural determinants (MoAs), behavioural change techniques (BCTs) and persuasive design.
We gathered the views of young people during the development of this module, incorporating their insights and feedback in the content. Various care providers have also contributed to this module and provided their feedback.
